Continuing professional development credits for MD-Reviewers with CIHR Peer Review
Maintain your certification in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) by peer reviewing for CIHR.
College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
CFPC requires members to obtain at least 25 credits per year and 250 credits per 5-year cycle.
Peer Review falls under the Activity Category of Self-Learning and is a non-certified activity. Committee participation counts towards one non-certified credit per hour of participation.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
Peer Review activity is eligible for credits in the Royal College Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program under MOC Section 3: Feedback and Improvement/Feedback delivered.
Unaccredited activities with financial or in-kind support by commercial interests are not eligible for MOC credits.
