avian influenza pathogenesis, small animal models for respiratory virus diseases, vaccine development and host immunity to vaccination and infection | My lab has extensive expertise in small animal models for avian influenza viruses with a toolkit of a broad number of AIV subtypes include the most recent H5N1 isolates, and H7Nx. We have nearly a decade of experience in evaluating different vaccine/therapeutics, and our own interest lies in advancing our understanding of AIV pathogenesis and host immunity to different AIV subtypes. We have a fully certified CL-3 facility for work with AIV, and are ready to support any Canadian researchers in this area. |
