Pediatric Cancer Research Initiative

The Pediatric Cancer Research Initiative (the Initiative) supports research, capacity building, and knowledge mobilization that will address gaps and challenges in pediatric cancer to achieve better health outcomes and better quality of life for those affected by pediatric cancer.

The Initiative is supported by funding announced in Budget 2021, which provided $30 million over two years to fund pediatric cancer research that can lead to better outcomes and healthier lives for young patients in Canada and their families.
